The Caps finish with a loss before the all-star break, but remain in first in their division and second in the conference behind the Bruins. Mike has been ranked by TSN.ca as the number one defenceman in the NHL, and fifth amongst all positions.

It’s been a great first half despite the injuries he has had,  and lets hope it’s av enven better second half, prove that he actually deserved to be in the all-star game and as a starter.
