I’ve been a little busy of late, I’m hoping to have all my “special projects” sorted out by New Years, and by then I’ll have a dedicated time each day for this website so that I’ll be posting or updating something every day.

Here are the video highlights from the game against Tampa which the Caps won 3-0 Monday December 7th:

The Caps won, Mike had no points and no shots, but was plus one in over 26 minutes of solid play, he did get a slashing call.

Here are the video highlights from the game against Buffalo which the Caps lost 3-0 Wednesday December 9th:

Washington got a dose of their own medicine against the Sabres, they ran into a hot Ryan Miller, really when is he not! He stopped all 35 shots that go to him, including 4 by Green. Again Mike played over 26 minutes and got a penalty this time for high sticking. Good news is that he was even in the plus minus category.

It really looks like he’s being more defensively conscious, I’m thinking it’s a sign of experience, but also a sign he’s really trying hard to get into Team Canada for the Olympics, and at this point, baring something major, I can’t see him not being in Vancouver for the games!

Tonight the Hurricanes are in town, and I can just imagine the energy level the Caps will have after being shut down.
