Most of the time I try and feature a picture of Mike from the game (or lately games) I write about, as you notice you don’t really see him in the above picture, but I assure you he’s in there somewhere as he scored the overtime winner Friday night against Carolina.

He finished that game with over 29 minutes of ice time and 5 shots, had a goal, the game winner and was an even in the plus minus category.

Saturday night, the Capitals started strong, but finished weak. Mike did have a little less time on the ice, just a little bit over 23 and a half minutes, he got an assist but was a minus 1, he also had 2 minor penalties with one shot.
