Just over 4 minutes into the game, Green got called for elbowing Michael Frolik, and it would seem the League will review the incident.

And then just before the end of the 2nd period, Mike got hit by Dmitry Kulikov and injured his right knee and left the game, he did return to the bench in the 3rd period but didn’t stay long.

He did get a shot and an assist and was even in over 15 minutes of play, but it the end it was a horrible night.

That being said, the Caps still managed to win yet again, 4-1, and now all we can do is sit and wait on what will happen with Green, injury and suspension wise.
