As you have probably noticed the website is going through some changes, I figured the off season is the best time to do this, but I should’ve prepared it better but it is what it is.

I have fixed quite a bit of things in the past few days so it isn’t as bad, but I will be going through the whole thing in the next month to get things ready for the new season, so please be patient with some of the changes and look.

Here’s Mike talking to reporters after yesterday’s practice. All the stats on the site are up to date, I should have the hockey card section up to date this weekend also, I have gotten many new cards, and will update the checklist of what I don’t have as well.

As most of you know Mike is my favorite player, but I also have a favorite goalie, and I’m starting a website for him as well, it should be started by the weekend also I hope. Once that one is up, I’m going to work on a new look for this site.

Here are some interesting facts about the first year of MikeGreenFan.com. I didn’t start my stats program until February so I have no numbers before that.

We have 72 posts (excluding this one) in 6 categories. We only have 15 comments to date, but I expect that to grow next season.

I will be working towards developing the features and pages on the site during the offseason. And some sort of marketing plan.

I noticed that when I tweet my posts on Twitter my site gets about 30-50 extra unique visitors on that day!

Expect the hockey season review on Mike after June 18th, which is the awards night. Where Green will hopefully bring home the Norris as the #1 D-man!

The one I made for this site is: MikeGreenFan.com is a site dedicated to the best offensive defenseman in the NHL since Coffey, Bourque and Orr, Mike Green!

Granted I do this site for fun and as a hobby and not to make money, so I won’t have business cards for it, but I will add it in my personal e-mail signature.

Yes that’s right Mike got a 2 minute penalty last game for the use of an illegal stick. I wonder if Ove curved it for him…

Also wanted to give you an update on the blog course/project I told you I was entering, today was day #4, I was hoping to talk each day of what was planned and what I was able to do but I haven’t been able to be active this week, but I plan on starting this weekend and get caught up by Monday on all the steps, so stay tuned for some changes and improvements.

Today I updated the pics as stated before, I have also added the “eBay Items” section where you can see all the Mike Green items on eBay live from my website, when you click an item you can see it in more detail and still live from my site.

I have also signed up for a special project/course offered by ProBlogger called “31 days to build a better blog” click on the image bellow to see what it’s about and sign up if you have a blog of your own.

I currently have 17% of all Mike Green cards, I based my list on what was listed on Beckett.com, if ever you have knowledge of missing cards or oddball items let me know and I will add them.
