The Norris Trophy nominations were announced yesterday for the NHL’s best defenseman and, not surprisingly, Mike Green wasn’t one of them. They were Nicklas Lidstrom, Shea Webber and Zdeno Chara.

As of right after my vote for Mike Green, he had 16.23% of the votes behind Doughty of the Kings who was leading with 31.02%. Duncan Keith, Zdeno Chara and Dan Boyle were 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.
